I have scanned various documents you may, or may not, find of interest. To make navigation easier, I've listed the documents here. Some of these were in my father's possessions, when he died, and some have been kindly given to me by family. I'll take this opportunity to say thanks to anyone who has contributed.

Please note: Some pictures may require you to save them in order to zoom in to see more clearly. You will also need to click the back button in order to view each part (sorry if this makes things inconvenient - it was either that or multiple open windows).

Page from the Northern Standard Newspaper with articles inlcuding the funeral of my Great Grand Aunt Mary Ellen (Beggan) Donnellan. For best viewing, when the page opens, right click on the picture and save it to your computer and open it from there. That was you will be able to zoom in to view the print. There are many names and places mentioned on this page and you never know, you might find a family member mentioned.

Clippings of personal letters containing family names and information that may be useful for people researching their family.

My Grannie, Susan (nee Beggan) kept a record of candles she was to light and medals to buy, for her close friends and family, from Lourdes on her visits. Here are three pages containing names of the people - 1 - 2 - 3

Letter from Eugene O'Callaghan of Bishop's House, County Monaghan, to Father McKenna about the new church of St. Joseph.

An Autograph book, which my father told me belonged to his Aunt Sarah Beggan. It is full of little poems and drawings, signed by different people, who I think attended High School, Clones, as this was written on the pages, and looks like it was from an Etta Levinson to someone called Violet. I'm not sure if Violet was a pet name for Sarah, or if maybe Violet gave the book to her. You can download the whole book, including the handwritten index from here Alternatively, as I am aware that not everyone will have the program "Winzip", I have made a pdf version here
