I have created this page for unknown people as I have some photos in my possession which have been handed down from my Grannie to my father and then to me of people I have not as yet been able to identify. I also have photos donated by others who would really like to know who are featured. If you have any such photos as would like me to put them on this page, please email me the photos with a description of what you know of the photo(s) and/or where the photo(s) came from and I will be happy to display them.

If you recognise anyone in these photos I'd love to hear from you. Contact me here and let me know which photo you are referring to and who they are.

This photo is of Father James McCabe (right) with a family, possibly his own. Father McCabe often visited Ireland on his way to a Jesuit Missionary in India. If you know who the other people in this photo are please get in touch as I'm sure Monica McCabe (who donated these photos) would be glad to know. This McCabe family came from Derrylea in and Drumsheaver/Drumshevera.

Another photo of Father James McCabe. If you know the woman in this photo contact me here   This photo comes from a collection taken at Gretna Green when my mother and father were married in 1960. There are quite a few photos of this couple and I have a feeling that they may have been witnesses at my mother and father's wedding and perhaps got married there themselves round the same time. The witness names on my parents' marriage certificate are George Moore of Innisrush, Port Glenrone, County Derry and Isobel Meharg Greenlough of the same place.

This was among a collection of negatives I have which I have made into a digital photo. It came from my Grannie Susan (Beggan) McConville's possessions. It was taken outside my Grannie's home at Annashanco, Roslea and looks to be a young girl dressed up for Holy Communion. There are a number of photos of children dressed this way and I think they were taken on the same day.   This photo was also among the collection of negatives from my Grannie and was taken outside Annashanco. Interestingly the lady looks similar to the Holy Communion girl on the left. This must either be the same person taken later on or perhaps the girl's mother. At the very least they must be the same family.

This photo was sent to me by Monica (McCabe). The only clues to the photo are that it says "Rembrandt Studio, Clones" on the back and the man probably has some connection to Monica's McCabe family, maybe Sweeney or Sheridan. If you recognise this man please contact me. I am sure Monica would love to know.
