The records are here folks!

Thanks to James Mullan and Aidan Cadden who, along with myself, have managed to transcribe the birth records for St. Tierneys. Also thanks to Sean Rooney who made it possible.

St. Tierneys is a Roman Catholic Chapel in the Parish of Clones. Thanks to Sean Rooney for these photos he took on his trip to Roslea earlier this year.

To help you to understand the entries, please read the notes at the top of each page. The pages are plain for now as I wanted to get the records up as soon as possible.

The Records span from 1862 - 1881.

There are marriage records for the same years and a few death records.

I have made the births, deaths and marriages available within web pages (some spanning several pages due to length). I have also made them available in pdf format as well as excel. For pdf you will need to have adobe acrobat reader installed on your computer. For excel you will need to have Microsoft Excel installed (usually part of Microsoft Office). If you do not have excel installed, there is a small file that can be downloaded from the microsoft website here which will enable you to open and view the excel files, however, you will only be able to open and view it and will not be able to manipulate or change the data without having the excel program installed.

I have started gathering census extracts for those living in the U.K. who were born in Fermanagh and Monaghan. These are taken from the FreeCen site and as such are not complete as yet so if you don't find your family members it may only be that the information is not available yet. The censuses available are from 1841 to 1891 and I will gradually compile the info. You will find these by year below:
